Shireen Smith of Azrights

I am delighted to say that Shireen Smith of Azrights will today publish her blogpost on the profound changes afoot for the legal profession at www.shireensmith.com.

Shireen, with the assistance of her trainee Stefano Debolini, has compiled a full round up of blogs and articles on this most topical of topics.  I do recommend you read it.

I’m also grateful to Shireen for not only writing about a subject that I have taken a great interest in (and thank you for the kind name check Shireen) but also for bringing news of Michelle Hynes’  recent grave illness. I’d missed out on the news and join Shireen in offering Michelle all best wishes for a full and speedy recovery.

The next edition of UKBR will be out at Eastertime.  It will be a landmark issue for two reasons.  Firstly, it will be the 10th edition of UKBR, which we’ve reached in just over two years and, secondly, I am delighted to say that it will be hosted by Charon QC, probably the highest profile blawger in the UK.  It will be good.

In the meantime I wish you all a somewhat belated Happy New Year.
